Cathy Sara is an actress. She has won the Carleton Hobbs BBC Radio Drama Award and enjoyed leading radio roles, such as Lucy Honeychurch in Room With a View, and Lauren in The Archers. She has made numerous recordings for Naxos Audiobooks including their most recent production of The Merchant of Venice playing Nerissa, with Antony Sher as Shylock. Her theatre work includes Juliet at Alan Ayckbourn’s Theatre in the Round, Stiffy Byng in By Jeeves, and Cordelia to Warren Mitchell’s King Lear at the Hackney Empire. On television, her roles contrast from Queen Victoria for Channel 4, to a murdering drug addict in Kavanagh QC, with recent guest appearances in The Royal, Casualty and Heartbeat.
Cathy has been a member of the ACG for some years and has benefited from the networks of members it has enabled: She comments: "I am enriched and encouraged by discovering and working with fellow Christians in the same industry.
